NPA'S CULTURE REFRESH PROGRAM SPRINTS OUT OF THE GATES

It was a full house in July as NPA staff welcomed the latest milestone event in our Culture Refresh journey. The event included the launch of our refreshed values, a look at how performance will be managed moving into the future, an interesting discussion about mindset and how it influences attitudes and behaviours, as well as a high-quality gift to all staff of a hot/cold thermos cup with NPA’s refreshed values emblazoned on the outside.

“An organisation’s values need to remain relevant to the working environment over time and therefore should have the freedom to be refreshed,” says NPA CEO Malcolm McDowell.  “Due to the high level of staff consultation, our revised value set is a true and accurate reflection of the workplace behaviours that have the greatest positive impact on the culture: Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Safety and Excellence. RAISE!”

NPA’s Executive Leadership Team appeared in a video to share their personal perspectives on each value.

NPA’s Culture Refresh program is being rolled out across the next 12 months with the highest priority cultural drivers for the business being Values Alignment, Empowered People and Capability Development.

As is already evident amongst our workforce, NPA CEO Malcolm McDowell again reinforced the need for people to be open-minded and to maintain a growth mindset, as well as encouraging people to continue to be involved by role modelling the values and engaging in important conversations around individual and organisational performance.

All NPA staff participated enthusiastically in the mindset and reaction scenario activities. By having certain staff talk through some of the scenarios it gave an insight to everyone participating about the way in which people in our business can frame information and situations positively and constructively.
