NPA USES EFTsure FOR SUPPLIER ON-BOARDING AND DATA MANAGEMENT

Note Printing Australia is implementing EFTsure Software Solution as part of its accounts payable processes to improve security measures.

The EFTsure software solution is an independent, real-time, continuous controls monitoring system, designed to validate the integrity of online transactions and supplier (vendor) data.  It ensures accurate electronic funds transfer of payments, providing greater assurance to its customers and their valued suppliers that when payments are processed, the funds are going where they are intended.

NPA is taking this step to combat the threat of cyber fraud, which can include business email phishing scams, payment data files being altered fraudulently, or attempts to steal confidential information for illegal gain.

Ironically, it is important that existing and new suppliers understand NPA’s decision to use EFTsure, as suppliers may be wary of opening an email from a company they do not recognise.

Commencing 1 November 2023, every supplier conducting business with NPA will need to provide their supplier data via the EFTsure portal. Supplier data provided during onboarding is verified by EFTsure to ensure that only legitimate information is entered into the NPA finance system.

Existing Suppliers

You can update your details at any time by contacting the department of NPA that you normally do business with and asking them to send you an 'EFTsure change request'.

It's your responsibility to ensure your details are up to date. Please notify NPA immediately if your details change, or if you notice any discrepancies.

New Suppliers

As part of the onboarding process, new suppliers will be asked by NPA to supply their company name and email address.

The new supplier will then receive an email invitation from EFTsure asking to register the company’s details as a new supplier, including:

ABN

Company name

Physical address

Email address

Bank account details

After a new supplier has registered their details, the business may receive a phone call from an EFTsure team member (usually within 24-48 hours) to verify that the details are correct.

New suppliers will receive a confirmation email from EFTsure when your data has been verified.

As with existing suppliers, new suppliers can update their details at any time by asking their NPA contact person to send an 'EFTsure change request'.

It is your responsibility to ensure your details are up to date. Please notify us immediately if your details change, or if you notice any discrepancies.

Depending on the data to be updated, you may receive a phone call from an EFTsure team member to verify your details over the phone before you receive a confirmation email.

Due to the nature of their business, EFTsure treats security with the utmost importance. It is a requirement that all EFTsure staff follow strict security guidelines.  If you have any enquiries or concerns leading up to, during and/or after providing your details to EFTsure, please do not hesitate to email Note Printing Australia at verifications@npal.com.au.
